Gabbin Paper Tubes is Australia's largest locally owned and operated cardboard core and tube manufacturer.
All cores and tubes are manufactured on site in our factory in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, and are distributed to customers across all states of Australia.
Applications our cores are used for include paper and film converting, tapes, labels, paper rolls, carpets, insulation, irrigation systems and textiles, as well as packaging and mailing tubes.

Cutting-Edge Technologies
​With 6 winding lines and 5 recutters, and an extensive tooling range, we have the capability to produce a very wide range of cores and tubes.
Digital computer technology enables extremely tight tolerances on accuracy with knife cut burr-free cores.
​
Our drying facility enables us to dry cores prior to recutting or despatch, preventing shrinkage of cores post-delivery
Our Materials
We source our coreboard from local suppliers where possible. For cores which require higher strength, we import high density coreboard in container loads, from our long-term, high quality overseas suppliers. All paper is carefully inspected and batch tested upon arrival, to ensure that it meets specifications.

All of our coreboard suppliers are FSC certified and our cores are made from 95% or more recycled material.
​
We use high grade PVA adhesives, and our gluing techniques ensure superior adhesion and core strength.
Superior Quality Control
We produce our products and services in a methodical and systematic way, and we have independently certified our quality management system to ISO9001.
